Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist opportunity is available to support elementary students in grades K-5, primarily focusing on assessment and individualized education program (IEP) processes. This contract role is based in Fairview, TN, with flexibility for remote candidates; however, preference will be given to those able to work onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with educators and families in developing, reviewing, and implementing IEPs.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide expert recommendations and support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed in coordination with school staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5).
- Strong understanding of special education laws, testing protocols, and IEP development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Ability to work independently, particularly in virtual or hybrid environments.
